Supreme Labs Athlete Q & A with Ali Silver

Welcome Ali,

eating disorder coach

1. So you're our newest Supreme Labs Athlete, can you tell us why you decided to apply to be a brand ambassador?

I’m so chuffed to be on board as a Supreme labs ambassador! I heard about Supreme Labs through a friend who recommended it – I’m quite selective over the supplements I use so when he told me to check it out I knew it must be good. I have a very holistic ethos, so it’s important to work with brands that have that as well, I love that Supreme labs products are 100% natural, have no artificial sugars only the best ingredients. I’m thrilled to be involved with a science-backed brand that I can share with clients, friends and family, that I know will improve their training AND their health.

2. How do Supreme Labs products fit into your training schedule?

I’m on the go a lot, so having a protein powder that tastes good blended just with water is key for me, and Supreme Labs is just that. For my plant lovers, the vegan protein blends amazingly well with water as well. I use protein shakes as either a snack between clients, or blended with some blueberries after a workout.

3. As a person trainer what are your goals for the future?

In 2017 I started my Eating Disorder Practitioners’ qualification, which I will have completed in May 2018; alongside my Nutritional Therapy Diploma at the ION. I think knowledge is power and I want to empower people.

4. What motivates you to train hard and diet? and where does that motivation come from?

I had a sports scholarship for the majority of my time at school, so fitness has always been a part of my life. At 12 I was teaching group aerobics and just fell in love with it! I can’t imagine not exercising, and for me eating well goes hand in hand. Training and dieting are small pieces of the puzzle, but they are also essential for physical and mental health.

5. What would be your best advice to someone just starting on their health and fitness journey?

With whatever training or dieting plan, think ‘how long am I going to do this for?’

For a lot of programs, the goals and habits are only suitable for long term. The best plans are the ones that are sustainable, and the ones you enjoy! Do what you love to do, even if that goes against the norm.

6. Finally we're all dying to know what your favourite exercise is and why?

I love a kettlebell swing – it’s a great cardio/strength move. Your heart rate goes up and you work your glutes, abdominals, and shoulders arms at the same time!

Thanks for jumping on board with us, we look forward to your posts and hope you continue to get great results using our products.
