Athlete Q & A with Anthony Townsend

Welcome Anthony,

Ronnie Coleman and Anthony Supremelabs Fat burner preworkout

So you're our newest Supreme Labs Athlete, can you tell us why you decided to apply to be a brand ambassador?

I’ve supported Supreme Labs from the early stages from knowing the founder Andre. He has helped me reach and exceed my fitness goals and is now certainly considered as a good friend.

The Supreme Labs supplements are also the best I’ve tasted, and I’ve tried a lot. The orange pre workout is so good, I could drink it throughout the day – not recommended.

How do Supreme Labs products fit into your training schedule?

I love the natural buzz I get from Conquer, it really helps me keep going after a long day at work, keeping me fuelled in the gym.

As an ex rugby player what are your goals for the future?

Keeping away from the rugby field now as I can’t afford the injuries, my goals are to build a shredded physique, build on my size and aesthetics – mainly focussing on my abs at the moment, which is my lagging area.

What motivates you to train hard and diet? and where does that motivation come from?

I’ve always been an obsessive type of person with an adrenaline junkie, addictive personality, whatever I did, it had to be perfect and most of all a lot of fun. What better way to focus that sort of energy than into your career and yourself – this drives me in everything I do. I can always improve myself, I can always push myself harder and knowing you’re getting stronger and feeling fitter through training is a great buzz.

What would be your best advice to someone just starting on their health and fitness journey?

-Take it slow, it’s not going to come in a few weeks or months – be realistic. However, DO NOT GIVE UP, if you keep grinding the work will start to pay off and those results will come.

-Take all the information, criticism and guidance you can, from everyone.

-There’s loads of info on the net, mainly YouTube – Utilise this!

Finally we're all dying to know what your favourite exercise is and why?

I know this is such a cliché, but I do love the bench press, squeezing as much blood into the chest gives an incredible pump and pushing heavy weight just feels good. Equally the deadlift is up there as it’s such a pure lift, you can’t cheat, it eithers comes off the floor to lock out, or it doesn’t.

Thanks for jumping on board with us, we look forward to your posts and hope you continue to get great results using our products.
